APRIL KEEN MUSIC

I caught up with April Keen music at RAW Studios whilst shooting! The band members were April Keen, Myles Dunlop and Michael Mayor.  Here’s some brief answers about what they had to say from music to fashion!

-What sort of music do you play?

“We’ve been together as a band over the past year and mainly play and write acoustic dark, slow songs usually with an angry feel to them.”

-Where do you go about listening to your music?

“You can find our music on our YouTube channel where we upload covers and our own songs. This can be found on Aprilkeenx channel. You can also find a cover of us on ITunes and we have also been featured on BBC Introducing.”

-Describe the bands style?

“The guys usually wear casual laid back clothes just a simple chequered shirt or tee paired with some jeans and pumps. As for me I usually will wear a black dress or playsuit accompanied with a fashion scarf creating a quirky look”.

-Any hidden gem clothes shops you shop at?

“I like to shop at normal high street stores such as Miss Selfridge and New Look but I also love to shop at charity shops especially in the lakes as you can find unique and quirky items. As for the guys they usually shop at River Island.”

-What’s the plan for the future?

“We are hopefully not going to university as we want to try and conquer the world! We hopefully will be able to release an album and get more of our songs featured on BBC Introducing!”
